Join The Garden as we host yoga teacher and advanced MELT instructor Edya Kalev for a weekend exploring movement, alignment and breath complimented by seasonal organic foods.
MELT on Yoga is for beginners and intermediate yogis alike. MELT is a brand-new technique that focuses on the health of your connective tissue using specialized rollers and balls. Yoga is a 5000 year-old practice that connects mind, body and spirit.
The first part of the weekend will introduce the unique concept behind the MELT Method, and how to hydrate connective tissue, which surrounds and protects all of the muscles, bones and organs in the body. The second half will focus on how MELT can allow the Yoga enthusiast to go deeper into their practice, increasing body awareness, flexibility and stability without compromising safety.
Dages has designed a menu that will assist you in cleansing and supporting your organs while enjoying delicious home cooked nourishment. Our focus for this weekend will be hydration and detoxification, gently supporting the MELT work you will explore with Edya. All meals are prepared in small batches on site using organic and local foods whenever possible. You will return after a weekend with us feeling rejuvenated, cleansed and vibrant, ready to approach the week with new energy.
No previous experience in MELT is necessary. MELT props are provided.
