About The Garden: The Garden is a restored 18th century Villa nestled into the lush Hudson Valley, only an hour and a half from New York City. Through intelligent yoga design, delicious whole food preparations and the peaceful
landscape, each guest at The Garden develops a stronger awareness of the body and mind. Centered and ignited, we are able to radiate the fullness of our expression outward, effecting positive change in our environment, our
community, our family, ourselves.
The Garden is easily accessible from Grand Central Station by taking Metro North to Beacon where you will be picked up by one of our staff members. You can always drive, or carpool with someone who is driving.
About Sarah Barab:
While working toward a degree in Buddhist Psychology at Naropa University, Sarah first encountered the teachings of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, a great Tibetan meditation master. She came to consider him her root guru and primary practice inspiration. Sarah founded Naked Mind Productions in 2006, a non-profit dedicated to making Dharma inspired film. She has been a meditation practitioner in the Tibetan tradition for over 15 years. Sarah is also a professional astrologer and a certified yoga and meditation instructor. Having had the rare opportunity to interview many of the greatest living Buddhist teachers for her current documentary, Sarah has been deeply moved to share her experience with others. She is currently based in New York City. www.nakedmindthefilm.org
About Yuval Boim:
Yuval Boim is a graduate of the Yogaworks teacher training program and holds an MFA in movement from the London International School of Performing Arts in collaboration with Naropa University. He has been practicing yoga since 1997 and has been studying the way people move through the world on both gross and subtle levels for the past 13 years. He has taught in France, the UK and across the US. He draws from an eclectic variety of yoga and movement traditions to awaken a spirit of creativity through which to explore the fun and conflict of having a body that moves. His classes are well-rounded, challenging and safe, and lead the practitioner toward adventure, integration, and healing. He is a member of Yoga Alliance.
